How exciting — 2 more cubs were born to Vera, Flocke’s mom, at the Nuremberg Zoo. She gave birth to the 2 cubs on Friday, November 21, 2008. So far the cubs have only been seen by video which makes it impossible to figure out their sexes. Zoo keepers do not expect to be able to handle the cubs to sex them for several months.
Vera is 6 years old and almost exactly 1 year ago she gave birth to Flocke. Flocke is doing very well and receives lots and lots of visitors. Click FLOCKE PHOTOS to see some great photos of Flocke’s first outdoor excursion.
Bear hugs, Frankie
