Are there really 9 species of Bear?
Is it a coincidence that I love all bear species including Gummi Bears? I think not. These little candies are not only cute but they are delicious too. I just found a wonderful site called Gummi Bears: Who Doesn’t Love The Gummi Bear? There you’ll find the most interesting facts such as, and I quote…
“The name ‘Gummi Bear’ comes from the german Gummibär (Gummibaer) which means ‘rubber bear’, or a bear which has a rubbery texture. Hans Riegel of Bonn, Germany invented these tasty bear-shaped sweets in 1922 and started the Haribo company.”
