Baby Polar Bear born in Toledo Zoo
A baby polar bear appeared in the Toledo Zoo’s polar bear den camera on Jan 5. The mom, 11-yr-old Crystal, was cuddling the baby. The second cub only lived a couple of days. Crystal and the cub are being monitored on the camera.
This is Crystal’s 2nd set of twins so the zoo is hoping she takes as good care of this little cub as she did her first set of twins in 2006. Here’s a shot of the cub and mom from the polarcam…
